very much. I beg you to spare the life of
unborn baby that I have spiritually
adopted who is in danger of abortion”.

Lepanto A Poem by GK Chesterton

1280px-Battle_of_Lepanto_1571

Naval Battle of Lepanto 1571: A battle for the heart of Europe against the invading Ottoman Empire fleet. It was fought by the Holy League, a coalition of southern European Catholic states led by Don John of Austria.

Excerpts from Lepanto:

Put down your feet upon him, that our peace be on the earth.”
For he heard drums groaning and he heard guns jar,
(Don John of Austria is going to the war.)
Sudden and still–hurrah!
Bolt from Iberia!
Don John of Austria
Is gone by Alcalar.

Crying with the trumpet, with the trumpet of his lips,
Trumpet that sayeth ha!
Domino gloria!
Don John of Austria
Is shouting to the ships…

Viva Hispania!
Domino Gloria!
Don John of Austria
Has set his people free!

Hello everyone!

One of the great things about blogging is that you get to be part of a great community and discover many great blogs. One of the best blog I have come across about being a follower of Christ through every day experience is Age of Discernment. I honestly can’t hardly wait to see what this self describe “Devout Catholic; craft beer snob; cycling connoisseur; disposable-lighter repairman” has install with each post. Finally I could not help myself but I had to reblog this post that tells you so much about out Faith as Catholic Christians and all the misconception that people have about the Catholic Church.

Best,

Caleb

He Made Us

179dca31ae505d38

“And what is this? I asked the earth, and it answered me, “I am not He;” and whatsoever are in it confessed the same. I asked the sea and the deeps, and the living creeping things, and they answered, “We are not Thy God, seek above us.” I asked the moving air; and the whole air with his inhabitants answered, “Anaximenes was deceived, I am not God.” I asked the heavens, sun, moon, stars, “Nor (say they) are we the God whom thou seekest.” And I replied unto all the things which encompass the door of my flesh: “Ye have told me of my God, that ye are not He; tell me something of Him.” And they cried out with a loud voice, “He made us.”
